Earlier... with Jools Holland

Jools shares his lifelong passion for classical music and the beautiful connections with jazz and blues. With fascinating guests each week, who bring their own favourite music and occasionally perform live in Jools's studio.

Today, Jools's choices include music by Alessandro Marcello, Grace Williams and Lloyd Glenn, with performances by the ensembles Holland Baroque and Il Gardellino. His guest is the singer, musician, producer, composer and actor Herbert Grönemeyer who performs in the studio and introduces music he loves by Schubert and Rachmaninov.
