A note from the band: The MP3 floating around on the message boards at the moment is a track we recorded with Mike Skinner a few months ago. The track was the result of a late night jam session and something we did for a bit of a laugh featuring a blues riff we have been playing live recently upon which Skinner recorded some vocals. A photo in renowned Muse gallery, microcuts.net, surfaced recently depicting Muse frontman pinching his nose. Fans have been sent into a frenzy, wondering why anyone would capture such a moment. The fact that the fans are apparently psychotic according to Bellamy could be the reason why they are going spack.

"He was sneezing!" say the logical people at fan forum, The Artist's Muse, "Fuck's sake."

"I think he wants to quit the band. Chris must stink, and Dom after hitting those drums and stuff," speculate people at the Muse board. Nach dem mir "Black Holes and Revelations" nun auch nach einigen durchläufen immer noch als ein ziemlich geniales Album erscheint, überlege ich meine Muse Sammlung (naja der Begriff passt noch nich richtig) etwas zu erweitern. Welches Album sollte ich mir als nächtes holen? Hm ich weis noch nicht recht. Vielleicht könnt ihr mir ja 'nen Tipp geben.

Benny meinte als weiteren Einstieg wäre Absolution wohl besser, aber Origin of Symmetry wird allgemein als ihr Meisterwerk angesehen.
Und dann wäre da noch das erste Album: Showbiz

CD ist vom Samstag, DVD vom Sonntag.
Dann gibt es noch die Absolution Tour DVD, ist allgemein nicht ganz so beliebt, aber wir waren ja auch etwas verwöhnt von Hullabaloo (OoS Tour)
Doppel CD oder Doppel DVD.
CD: Einmal Mitschnitte aus Le Zenith in Paris, und die andere CD sind ein paar B-Seiten
DVD: Einmal nen Zusammenschnitt von den beiden Konzerten in Le Zenith und die andere… Chaostruppe Muse unterwegs.

Jedenfalls, mein Tipp Origin of Symmetry. Vielleicht manchmal etwas kantig für's ungewohnte Ohr, aber wenn ich ein Lieblingsalbum wählen müßte, wäre es das.

Wie Georgy schon sagte, Origin of Symetrie ist sicherlich das größte Meisterwerk von Muse, dafür halt auch etwas sperrig, Absolution ist siherlich das hymnischste Album von allen Muse Alben, ich denke mit beiden kann man gut weitermachen.

Ich hab jetzt einfach mal das von dir empfohlene Origin Of Symmetry Album geholt. Vor dem ersten Abspielen der CD war ich dann ziemich gespannt, wie es klingt. Ob's mr gefällt, ob's mir erstmal vielleicht doch zu Sperrig ist? Aber der erste Eindruck war eigentlich ziemlich gut. Das Album klingt anders als Black Holes and Revelations. Aber auch sehr gut.

Hi,

Another eventful week.
Thank god Obama is in. Its now America's chance for a clean slate and to wipe off that jaded war riddled joke that was the last eight years. Best news in a long time..
This album, or whatever it may be or called these days, is definitely shaping up. Matt has done some really great string arranging that makes you want to cry or laugh, be happy or sad. It has a lot of emotion that makes me feel all these things at once. But maybe Im weird.. I just like it a lot and this is without vocals yet.
We're heading to the studio next week to get this thing started whist wearing the production hat. Hopefully the three of us can sail this piece in the right direction, or any direction and not around in circles for too long.
Its exciting to do this one in our own place with our own gear and in our own time; but we're still hoping to get a lot of spontaneity into this record which will feel refreshing.
