A podcast to celebrate the release of Control the movie on October 5th and the accompanying soundtrack on October 1st. Featuring exclusive interviews conducted by Paul Morley with the director Anton Corbijn, the writer Matt Greenalgh and executive producer Korda Marshall as well as extensive excerpts from the film and soundtrack. In interview Anton discusses meeting Joy Division, directing his first feature, Manchester in the late 70's, Factory Records, Rob Gretton, northern actors and much more. Matt Greenalgh discusses the band, including Hooky and Bernard Sumner, New Order, adapting Touching From A Distance by Deborah Curtis and depicting legends. Korda Marshall discusses the importance of the film, the soundtrack featuring songs from Joy Division, New Order, Kraftwerk, David Bowie, Velvet Underground, Buzzcocks, Roxy Music, Iggy Pop and The Killers.
