Ich höre zurzeit sehr viel Blue October.
Die Text fand ich zunächst etwas verstörend, bis ich gelesen habe, dass der Sänger (und Songwriter) seit seinem 14. Lebensjahr an bipolaren Störungen leidet. Danach wurde mir vieles klarer.
Ich muss sagen, dass mich seit Herbert keine Texte mehr so beeindruckt und berührt haben wie diese.

Unter diesem Thread könnte ich fast jedes Lied als "genial" posten, will mich aber mal auf zwei markante Textstellen beschränken.

Aus "Weight Of The World":
